Spartan Specialty Vehicles offered Class A RV owners an up-close look at the 2019 Spartan K3 605 chassis for the first time at the 2018 Newmar Kountry Klub International Rally in Gillette, Wyo., late last month.

Revealed to dealer partners at Newmar’s annual dealer meeting earlier this year in Dallas, Texas, the 2019 Newmar Class A lineup boasts Spartan’s most advanced technology to date. The King Aire, Essex, London Aire, Mountain Aire, and Dutch Star models feature Spartan Connected Coach, which features a new digital dash display and keyless push-button start.

Additionally, Spartan’s Advanced Protection System is standard on the King Aire, Essex, London Aire, and Mountain Aire, and is comprised of safety systems such as Collision Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Spartan Safe Haul.

New for the 2019 model year, Spartan Safe Haul is now standard on all Newmar models equipped with Spartan chassis.

Spartan and Newmar have also partnered to offer the Newmar Ventana 40- and 43-foot tag axle models built on Spartan’s new K2 400 chassis for the 2019 model year. The K2 400 features a Cummins L9 400 horsepower diesel engine and an Allison 3000MH Transmission. Spartan Passive Keyless Start and Spartan Safe Haul are standard on both Ventana tag axle models built on the K2 400.

“The Newmar Kountry Klub International Rally is the largest annual gathering of Newmar motorhome owners, making it the perfect venue to introduce the latest, top-of-the-line RV chassis the market has to offer,” said Steve Guillaume, president of Spartan Specialty Vehicles. “Our K3 605 chassis takes the best of our world-class foundation and adds the latest performance technology on the market. The result is the safest, most refined, and most dependable RV experience on the road today.”

Spartan’s K3 605 chassis – wrapped in the stars and stripes of the American flag – features a 20,000-pound towing capacity, a Cummins X15 605 horsepower diesel engine, an Allison Transmission 4000 MH 6-speed electronic transmission, and a 20,000-pound independent front air suspension.

2019 Newmar coach models equipped with Spartan chassis now include Spartan’s extended five-year, 75,000-mile, bumper-to-bumper warranty. Spartan’s five-year transferable chassis warranty provides full coverage without a deductible.

Additionally, Spartan owners can access more than 40,000 roadside service providers throughout the U.S. and Canada with a three-year roadside assistance plan through Coach-Net.

“It’s crucial that we provide our customers with industry-leading service and support as we push the boundaries of traditional RV technologies,” said Guillaume.
