Spot2Nite, a booking software and centralized marketplace designed specifically for RV travelers and campground operators, said that ahead of this week’s Florida RV SuperShow, it has rolled out two new product features that elevate the booking experience for website and mobile app users.
The company said that when using most campground reservation platforms, the RV traveler spends a prolonged amount of time researching campground locations that meet their site preferences, only to enter their ideal stay dates to find no availability during that time period and with no alternative dates. The user must then decide to repeatedly enter different stay dates in hopes of finding availability, try to reach the property’s often-inundated reception office, select a different campground location and start over, or just give up their search entirely.
Spot2Nite said it solved this problem by developing an Availability Calendar that allows users to enter their search criteria and stay dates, select a campground, and immediately view all other dates within a 90-day calendar window that do have availability, should their original stay dates be full. This enhanced search flexibility makes it even easier for campers to look, book and go, simultaneously maximizing revenue for campground operators as more guests are able to successfully complete an efficient booking process.
Additionally, travelers can also now plan and book several campground stays in one seamless experience using Spot2Nite’s new Multi-Destination Shopping Cart.
