Startup Accelerator Launches Two New Programs in Indiana
Nationally ranked startup accelerator gener8tor will launch two new programs in Indiana this summerto support local entrepreneurs: gBETA Main Street and gBETA Autonomous Vehicles & Future of Roads. The programs, sponsored by the Indiana Economic Development Corp. (IEDC), provide coaching and resources over the course of seven weeks.
gBETA Main Street will provide resources and support to for-profit small businesses with local brick-and-mortar locations. gBETA Autonomous Vehicles & Future of Roads will support high-growth startups using new technologies to shape the future of roads and highway systems.
The gBETA Main Street program matches small business owners with peers and experienced mentors to set goals, provide a layer of external accountability and build a peer support system. Weekly “Lunch & Learns” offered not only to the selected cohort but also the general public will provide business education and tips to help small businesses thrive by using local economic conditions to their advantage.
Businesses from across Indiana are invited to apply for the gBETA Main Street program by visiting gbetastartups.com/main-street. The application deadline is Monday, July 19.
The gBETA Autonomous Vehicles & Future of Roads program will work with startups in all fields related to autonomous vehicles. In addition to mentoring, coaching and “Lunch & Learn” opportunities, startups selected for this program will receive up to $1 million in deals and perks from companies including Microsoft, IBM Cloud and Rackspace. Even those with ideas, rather than a fully formed company, are encouraged to apply.
