Irvin Kontowsky recently joined StateWide Windows as operations manager, where he is responsible for day-to-day manufacturing at two plants and 11 manufacturing lines covering 39 product families, according to a company news release.

StateWide manufactures nearly 9,000 doors and windows per week for RVs, truck caps, livestock trailers and other products.

Kontowsky previously served as warehouse/logistics manager at Reschcor, an Elkhart-based plastic extrusion company. He is a 15-year veteran of the RV industry, having worked in positions as plant manager and director of quality and human resources manager for companies such as Holiday Rambler, Damon and Gulf Stream.

In addition, Kontowsky has taught business administration, management and engineering for nine years as an adjunct professor at Indiana Institute of Technology, Fort Wayne, where he earned an MBA in management and human resources and a bachelor’s of science degree in industrial engineering.

“Irv brings two decades of valuable experience in engineering and management that will help us improve efficiency and grow our business,” said Jim Johnson, vice president and general manager. “We plan to make the transition from supplier to solutions provider and double our business over the next five years, and Irv will be a big part of making that happen. We’re excited to have him aboard.”
