Storyteller Overland, a manufacturer in the Class B and adventure vehicle manufacturing space, announced Christina Linton as the company’s new chief people officer (CPO).

Linton joins Storyteller with more than 18 years of experience in building exceptional teams with sustainable, long-term growth, the company said.

As CPO, she will lead Storyteller’s expanding “status as a destination employer for creatives, craftsmen and technologists alike.”

“I’m excited for an opportunity to combine my love for new experiences and the great outdoors with a purposeful career,” Linton said. “Growing and developing organizations and the people within the organization is one of my life’s greatest gifts. I love to see people achieve their personal aspirations and career goals. The cross section between these two things is the ultimate fulfillment for me.”

With leadership experience spanning people and culture, sales and operations, as well as compliance and HR operations, Linton has a track record of establishing strong community connections, fostering high employee satisfaction and engagement rates, and creating environments where great people can thrive and flourish, Storyteller said.

The announcement comes during a period of exceptional growth for the company. Not only has the small business seen many new additions to its team in the past year, but it has also recently acquired two other adventure-focused companies: GoCamp and Global Expedition Vehicles.

“As a rapidly growing company, we value and prioritize our people and the health of our community above all else; so we absolutely refuse to be the kind of company that starts strong only to begin losing focus and taking our success and one another for granted,” said founder and CEO Jeffrey Hunter. “That’s why I am truly excited that Christina Linton is bringing her expertise and passion for building stellar teams and positive cultures to our executive leadership suite at Storyteller. Her energy and vision is exactly what we need to help ensure that our unique Storyteller culture remains inclusive and empowering and our values remain constant through this next chapter of our growth.”
