Mike PhillipsWichita, Kan.-based Suburban Manufacturing, an Airxcel brand and a supplier of RV furnaces, water heaters and cooking appliances, has appointed Mike Phillips to the newly created position of senior VP of operations and engineering.
In this role, Phillips will lead operations and engineering groups to increase growth and improve processes. His responsibilities will include managing the company’s safety initiatives, product development, production processes, continuous improvement, and new sales and operations procedures.
Phillips has extensive manufacturing experience and most recently held the position of director of operations at Welbilt in Parsons, Tenn. Before that he was VP of engineering at SFI and director of operations at Pegasus Steel. Phillips has a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Freed-Hardeman University.
