Suburban Mfg. Promotes Mitch Cornelius

Suburban Mfg., a division of Airxcel Inc., recently promoted Mitch Cornelius to product manager.

Cornelius started with Suburban about two years ago as a product engineer, playing a critical role in the design and development of new products, the company said.

Cornelius graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2011 with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering. After school, he served as a design engineer, project engineer and field service manager for various companies throughout the Midwest and in the U.K.

In his new role, Cornelius will work closely with OEM product managers and design teams to develop new, innovative cooking and heating appliance solutions.

“Mitch has been a significant asset to the development of Suburban appliances since he started,” said Art Klee, Suburban Mfg. president. “His knowledge of our products, our customers and their applications will assist us in developing new innovative products for the RV industry.”
