Suburban Manufacturing’s recently released IW60 On Demand water heater is gaining traction with OEMs and the aftermarket.
Several OEMs are using the product, and it is widely available through Suburban’s aftermarket distribution network.
“We have a number of OEMs using our new On Demand water heater because of its ability to provide a consistent output temperature during variable demands of hot water,” said Trent Kauffman, Airxcel’s vice president of OEM sales. “This is accomplished by utilizing Suburban’s exclusive 2-Stage Modulating Combustion System. The MCS ensures a consistent flow of hot water by monitoring incoming water temperature, water flow, and the output water temperature six times a second. This allows for immediate change of the heating cycle when a change of demand occurs. Retail customers appreciate the convenience of having a limitless, reliable supply of hot water along with 2 freeze protection systems incorporated standard into all units.”
“The product was well received by dealers and distributors at the recent RVIA show in Louisville,” said Piar Adams, Airxcel’s vice president of marketing, aftermarket and international sales. “We’ll also be demonstrating the IW60 at the upcoming NTP/Stag Show in New Orleans, and the Florida RV Super Show, as well as featuring it at our other distributor partner shows including Land N Sea/Bell, Northern Wholesale, and Arrow Distributing.”
