Lance Camper to Feature Altimeter at SEMA

Lancaster, Calif.-based Lance Camper Mfg. will be participating in this year’s SEMA show. This year, the company will be featuring their new Altimeter build, explicitly designed for the overlanding customer.

“With the addition of the Overlanding Experience in the Performance Pavilion, it gives us the ideal venue to showcase how perfect the Lance Truck Camper is for this life style,” said Bob Rogers, director of marketing.

The Lance Altimeter features the Lance 855S Truck Camper mounted to a 2019 Ford F350 SRW Super Duty 4X4 Crew Cab.

“This is a fully functional build, using the best yet readily obtainable components from today’s leading manufactures,” said Rogers. “This rig gets used regularly in the conditions it is designed for and is just a blast to operate.”

Lance also uses the Altimeter platform to test new features, such as lithium batteries and Truma heating systems that have been recently introduced at retail.

Lance partnered with Yamaha Motorsports assembling a matching 2019 Yamaha 1000R SE YXZ to bring along for more overlanding forays.

“We use the Altimeter to showcase the industry-leading capabilities of the Lance Truck Camper line up and to raise awareness of just how good this type of RV is in supporting so many different lifestyles,” said Jim Waters, marketing coordinator and Altimeter project manager. “As we like to say, the Altimeter creates ‘Adventure at any altitude.’”

The Lance Altimeter will be in booth No. 51409 at SEMA.
