RV enthusiasts from throughout California are getting together for the upcoming 2015 WARE Rally at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds in Yuba City.
The Western Area Rally for Escapees is from April 12-16 with safety seminars, vendors, a classic car show, line dancing and a luau, the Appeal Democrat reports.
The general public is invited to stop by and learn about the RV lifestyle and take part in the activities, said Donna Betteridge, spokeswoman for the event.
The event is free for walk-in guests. The cost is $150, including water and electric hookup, for travelers planning to stay for the four days.
Participants can sign in at any time on April 12. Activities get underway with a happy hour at 4 p.m. that day, followed by a presentation about the area’s history by the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce.
A Polynesian dinner luau is at 5 p.m. April 15. Participants are asked to wear Hawaiian attire. Cost for the dinner is $20 for those not registered for the entire rally.
