SylvanSport has added a former Spartan Motors president and CEO to its team.

John Sztykiel, who retired from Spartan Motors in Dec. 2014, joins SylvanSport as a management advisor, according to a news release.

As a longtime follower of SylvanSport, Sztykiel said he has always had an interest in the potential of the company and its products.

“Transforming products, unbelievable opportunity, the great outdoors…this sums up my joy and outlook, in partnering with the SylvanSport team,” Sztykiel said. “I look forward to working with SylvanSport as they expand their reach of the GO and GO Easy, two dynamic, mobile adventure gear products.”

SylvanSport is excited about experiencing Sztykiel’s reputation for creativity and energy as they continue to grow their market in the United States and abroad.

“Bringing John (Sztykiel) on board with SylvanSport is a natural fit with his creative energy and background and couldn’t be better timing,” SylvanSport President and CEO Tom Dempsey said. “We’ve been steadily expanding our dealer network, both domestically and internationally, and are excited for John to join us. We align culturally and his demonstrated transformational growth and wisdom, in a variety of automotive-related markets, will be invaluable as we move SylvanSport to the next level.”
