SylvanSport to Expand at Sylvan Valley Industrial Center

SylvanSport, the Brevard, North Carolina-based innovator and manufacturer of adventure travel trailers, pop-up campers, rooftop tents and outdoor gear, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the Sylvan Valley Industrial Center (SVIC) expansion project.

SylvanSport expansion

The global headquarters of SylvanSport will grow by 40,000 square feet, led by the Transylvania Economic Alliance (TEA).

SylvanSport’s commitment to supporting North Carolina’s outdoor economy aligns perfectly with the thriving and robust outdoor tourism industry near its headquarters – the entrance to Pisgah National Forest. Spearheaded by founder Tom Dempsey, the company is leading the development of a manufacturing facility in Brevard. The facility is set to be completed by summer 2025.

“SylvanSport is the perfect complement to the outdoor mecca we call home, one of the best mountain towns in the USA. The SVIC is an embodiment of the thought leadership and vision to live where we play and drive diverse economic growth and further connection to the outdoors,” said Tom Dempsey, founder and CEO of SylvanSport. “The SVIC expansion delivers on that vision.”
