Talin Mfg. has announced it has formed a new division called Talin RV. The specialty parts manufacturer, headquartered in Brooksville, Fla., recently formed its new division to support direct sales of specialty products including OEM and aftermarket RV accessories.

“We formed the Talin RV division to handle the sales of product lines made by other companies and manufacturers. We wanted to separate the manufacturing side of our company from the OEM product sales line,” said Ingrid Throgmartin, president of Talin Mfg.

Talin makes obsolete Carefree parts under agreement with Carefree of Colorado. In addition, it also manufacturers a full line of Guardian Plates for Monaco brand coaches. The Guardian Plates are used to retrofit the slide bottom corners on Monaco brand coaches to eliminate the ongoing issue of slide floor rot.

“The Guardian Plate product line is our core product,” said Throgmartin. “We began working with industry experts back in 2010 and after a couple years of development and testing began offering them to RVers, dealers and service centers in a DIY kit form in late 2016. We are proud of the fact that these kits have saved a lot of money for Monaco coach owners who had beginning stages of floor rot.”

The Talin Guardian Plates are manufactured using 304 mirror stainless and are CNC machined. The plates have a high luster finish, and the plate kits come complete with everything a technician or coach owner needs including aircraft grade SS rivets, sealants and caulking.

All stainless and kit components are crafted in Brooksville.
