TAXA Outdoors Brings Home Six Awards
TAXA Outdoors recently earned six awards at the first-ever RVX: The RVX Experience in Salt Lake City.
TAXA received three Judge’s Choice awards at The Reveal – a showcase of RVs chosen by a panel of consumer media and social media influencers and streamed online to thousands of consumers.
In addition to the awards given by the panel at The Reveal, TAXA’s future concept unit of the Mantis and Cricket were also selected as top rigs by Popular Mechanics and Outside Magazine.
The Mantis was awarded the 2019 Sustainability RV award from Popular Mechanics and the lone RVX Gear of the Show award from Outside Magazine. The updated model features a new multi-function seating system, wider bunks, a kitchen with a portable fridge and a new expansive rear hatch, allowing easy access and ventilation.
The Cricket earned the 2019 Outdoor Adventure RV award from Outside Magazine. The updated Cricket features axle-less Timbren suspension and a four-inch lift, providing 19 inches of ground clearance and compatibility with Jeep tires and rims.
The new TigerMoth model, which was awarded a Judge’s Choice at The Reveal, features redesigned cabinetry, a Truma Vario furnace for winter camping and lightweight aluminum construction.
“TAXA sells adventure equipment you can sleep in, not the typical house on wheels paradigm that most of the industry focuses on,” said Garrett Finney, CEO. “It feels great to be celebrated by the industry as well as leading outside publications for the path we are following.”
“We are resonating with a new category of adventurists who never thought they would own a camper,” said Divya Brown, president. “People who want to have less things and more meaningful experiences. We’re tapping into a deeper desire for people to connect with the outdoors.”
