Temecula Valley RV Services, located on a 6-acre lot in Murrieta, Calif., is celebrating 20 years of being in business. Temecula Valley RV, one of the largest RV service only centers in the Southwest, attributes its success to its loyal customer base and amazing family of employees.

The service center was established October 1997 – the original facility located in Old Town Temecula. In less than 10 years, Owner and Manager Erik Kitley knew his business had outgrown the 4.4 acres they were on.

The new, 6-acre facility (pictured), boasts a 25,000-square-foot building consisting of 33 service bays, 150 storage spots, holds up to 100 units in service, as well as a 5,000-squar-foot parts showroom.

The facility includes overnight parking for the full-timers waiting for parts to arrive or authorization from the manufacturer or extended warranty company.

Kitley’s partner, Guy Kinsman, has been an avid RVer for more than 40 years, and was involved with RV manufacturing business for 30 years, which has been helpful to Temecula Valley RV.

The service center has one of the largest parts department and online stores in the Southwest, and if parts are not in stock, they are usually available the next day.

Temecula Valley RV also purchased inventory from OEM’s that are no longer manufacturing, including National RV, Alfa, MVP and Fleetwood.

During the Great Recession, Kitley decided the company needed to take on another entity.  They began building, remodeling, and customizing RVs and trailers for local police, fire, and emergency departments. Today, Temecula Valley RV has a full-service renovation center that remodel flooring, flat screen TVs, countertops, furniture, and duel roller shades to name a few. The center has also started manufacturing specialty parts that are no longer available at the OEM level or that are very difficult to get.

Temecula Valley RV employs 36 professionals who often celebrate special occasions with lunches, company camping trips, and holiday parties.  More than three-fourths of the staff have been with the center for upwards of 12 years. Shop foreman Don Wake has been with them for 19 years.

Temecula Valley RV is currently in the process of purchasing additional property to expand and increase the ability to handle customer needs.
