The Texas RV Association (TRVA) swore in several new board members during its annual membership and business meeting this week at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines resort, which hosted the group’s annual convention.
Kevin White, with United RV, and Ron Hoelzer, from Lloyds Trailer Sales, were re-elected as president and vice president, respectively.
Lance Stewart, with RV Land, who held the dual role of secretary and treasurer in 2020, was re-elected to the treasurer’s position, while Chris Hoover, from Ron Hoover RV & Marine, was elected to serve as secretary in the year ahead.
Larry Troutt III, from Topper’s Camping Center, and Ken Boggs, with Amazing RVs, were both re-elected as dealer representatives to the board. Bill Koster, with Protective Asset Protection, will serve as the association’s insurance representative.
Four new representatives were added to the board, including:
- Zach Rininger, Forest River, who will represent RV manufacturers.
- Chris Haas, Bank of America, will serve as the finance representative.
- Stacy Rist, Bennett’s Camping Center, will represent campgrounds and RV parks.
- Fred Petrivelli, NTP-STAG, will represent industry suppliers.
All the association leaders and board members were elected unanimously by verbal proclamation.
“Our board members put in countless hours helping to guide the association and advance our agenda to benefit RV users and the entire industry in Texas,” said Phil Elam, TRVA executive director. “We could not accomplish all that we have been able to do without the suggestions and ideas offered by our dedicated board and the work they put in to implement them.
“They are all professionals in their businesses, and I am very appreciative of all the time and energy they take away from their jobs to give to TRVA and its members. We could never afford to hire all the services they donate to the association.”
