Thetford Corp. recently acquired Nova Kool Mfg., a maker of refrigeration products for mobile and off-power grid applications. Terms of the purchase were undisclosed.
Based in Coquitlam, B.C., Canada, Nova Kool manufactures more than 25 products for the RV, marine and truck markets. Its products include AC/DC and DC refrigerators and freezers in single-door, two-door, side-by-side and upright configurations.

It is an established, global company that manufactures mobile refrigeration products that are supplied to our same markets, and we share the same focuses of quality and exceeding customer needs.”
Cordeillesaid there will be no changes to the Nova Kool organization.
“It’s business as usual for Nova Kool,” he said. “It will operate independently – with its same management team in place – and as a separate business.”
