Thetford and Norcold mourned the loss of Eric Klein, director of engineering and product development, on Wednesday, June 8, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in McCartyville, Ohio.

Eric Klein was remembered for his sense of humor and also his deep product knowledge.

Klein, 45, from Anna, Ohio, passed away June 1, 2022, from injuries sustained in a multiple vehicle accident on the Indiana Toll Road in South Bend, Indiana.

“It’s a tragic and unimaginable loss,” said Stephane Cordeille, CEO of Thetford and Norcold. “Eric was so special and touched all of us with his warmth, humor and ability to explain the most complex issues in the simplest terms. He will be greatly missed.”

Klein was a 1995 graduate of Vanlue High School and a 1999 graduate of Ohio Northern University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He began his career with Norcold in June 1999 working in the engineering department. He made countless valuable contributions to the organization throughout his 23-year career. His technical leadership, problem-solving skills and ability to connect with others made a significant impact on the organization.

“All of us at Thetford and Norcold will keep Eric’s wife and two children in our hearts and thoughts as they go through this difficult time,” said Cordeille.

Memorials may be made to Anna Local School, with memo: Eric Klein Memorial (P.O. Box 169 Anna, Ohio 45302), to benefit the middle school and high school Media Center or charities of choice.
