Thetford/Norcold Taps New Engineering Leader

Deb Monnin

Deb Monnin joined the Thetford Corp. and Norcold executive team as vice president of engineering for the company’s Americas group.

A native of Ohio, Monnin comes to Thetford from Emerson Climate Technologies in Sidney, Ohio, where she spent the past 25 years in executive and technical leadership roles. She had served as Emerson’s VP of engineering, with a focus on refrigeration and industrial engineering, since 2008.

“Deb is a problem-solver and team-player by her nature and has a significant history leading and developing teams,” Thetford Americas President Kevin Phillips said in a news release. “As an accomplished business executive with strong technical management skills, she brings a great mix to our team.”

Monnin, who earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and master’s in engineering management from the University of Dayton, will relocate to Thetford’s Ann Arbor, Mich., headquarters.
