In a recent LinkedIn post, THOR Industries announced its THOR Community Foundation has donated to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana to support its Food 4 Kids Backpack program, which will help feed 285 Elkhart County students for the 2025-26 school year.
The Food Bank of Northern Indiana’s mission is to work in partnership with the community to feed the hungry, to increase awareness of the effects of hunger and to lead programs designed to alleviate hunger. It accomplishes this through the development and implementation of socially responsible programs and partnerships, emphasizing relationships with Feeding America and other organizations, which helps the food bank become the leading expert in the fight against hunger in northern Indiana.
