Throgmartin Holdings has purchased a new facility in Brooksville, Fla. The purchase was made to bring Talin Mfg. and Stone Vos under one roof by the parent company. The companies have completed their final phase of moving all of their operations into its new facility.
“With our growth over the last three years, we desperately needed a new facility,” said Ingrid Throgmartin, owner of Throgmartin Holdings. “So, we started the process of finding a new headquarters for all of our companies. Our operations have been split between three facilities and this will bring all of our operations under one roof.”
Talin has operated out of three separate facilities, including its service, manufacturing and warehousing operations, for the last four years. Stone Vos, a sister company to Talin, has operated in two of these facilities. The new headquarters building owned by the parent company, Throgmartin Holdings, will bring all operations for all three companies together under one roof.
Throgmartin indicated that the new facility is nearly triple the old space they had been utilizing.
“We needed to make this move as our office and workspaces have been overly crowded,” said Throgmartin. “Our retail storefront space was also limited, and our office arrangement was not ideal. Our fabric and stainless operations production needed to be separated. We simply were not efficient in having to utilize so many different facilities.”
The new facilities build out is complete and will include enhanced retail space, a customer waiting area, conference room and customer fabric design center.
Additionally, all Talin stainless production and manufacturing will be allocated its own closed-off space within the facility. Additional space will be allocated to their commercial and residential awning division. The company’s sewing capacity also expanded and has now doubled with the addition of new sewing stations. Warehousing for all companies is included in the new facility.
“Our corporate planning process identified this need two years ago,” said Throgmartin. “It was extremely difficult finding the right facility that would accommodate all of our operations without a great deal of costs associated with build out schemes. It will be a great facility for us until we finalize our plans on a new RV complex which is slated for the future.”
Throgmartin Holdings, Talin Mfg., and Stone Vos are all owned by the Throgmartin family and are based in Brooksville, Fla.
