Tiffin Motorhomes Celebrates 84th Birthday of CEO Bob Tiffin

Bob Tiffin

Tiffin Motorhomes proudly celebrated the 84th birthday of its founder and CEO Bob Tiffin on March 5 at the company’s headquarters in Red Bay, Alabama.

Team members gathered together to sing “Happy Birthday,” share cupcakes and honor the man whose vision and leadership have shaped the company for more than five decades.

Founded in 1972 by Bob Tiffin, Tiffin Motorhomes has grown from a small, family-led operation into one of the most respected names in the recreational vehicle industry. Through every stage of that journey, Mr. Tiffin has remained a constant and visible presence; and at 84 years young, that hasn’t changed.

In fact, Mr. Tiffin is still one of the first people to arrive at the plant each morning. Long before the sun is fully in the sky, he’s already walking the floor, greeting team members, checking on production and doing what he’s always done best: staying connected, the company said.

Mr. Tiffin continues to make time every day to meet new people, chat with Tiffin owners who travel to Red Bay, and personally thank customers for being part of the Tiffin family. He is known for signing cabinet doors inside coaches; a tradition that has become a cherished symbol among owners. If you know, you know.

More than five decades after founding the company, Mr. Tiffin remains actively involved and deeply committed to the people who make Tiffin Motorhomes what it is, both the team members building each coach and the loyal owners traveling the country in them.

Yesterday’s celebration was a reflection of the culture he established in 1972: one built on hard work, humility, personal connection and an unwavering dedication to quality. As cupcakes were shared and “Happy Birthday” echoed through Red Bay, one thing was clear; Mr. Tiffin’s legacy is not just history. It’s alive and well, walking the plant floor every morning.

Tiffin Motorhomes is proud to celebrate 84 years of Mr. Tiffin and looks forward to many more mornings, many more signatures and many more moments with the man who started it all.
