Tiffin Motorhomes Relocates Class C Production to Red Bay Campus
Tiffin Motorhomes, a leader in luxury recreational vehicles for more than 54 years, announced plans to relocate its Class C motorhome production and operations to its primary manufacturing campus in Red Bay, Alabama. The transition is slated to take place in May 2026 and represents a strategic investment in the company’s long-term growth, operational excellence and commitment to craftsmanship, Tiffin Motorhomes said in a release.
Since its founding in 1972, Tiffin Motorhomes has grown from a small, family-run operation into one of the most respected names in the RV industry. The Red Bay facility — Tiffin’s flagship campus — has played a central role in that success, serving as the heart of manufacturing, innovation and customer support for decades.
By bringing Class C production to Red Bay, Tiffin will further strengthen its vertically integrated manufacturing model. The campus will feature dedicated production lines for each motorhome segment, including a Class A line, a separate Class B van line and a newly established, standalone Class C line. This structure allows for increased efficiency, consistency and quality across all product offerings.
Red Bay is home to one of the most skilled and experienced workforces in the RV industry, the company said. Many team members bring decades of hands-on expertise, deep product knowledge and a shared commitment to the craftsmanship and attention to detail that define the Tiffin brand. Centralizing Class C production in Red Bay enables greater collaboration across teams, streamlined processes and enhanced training opportunities.
The move also places Class C production in close proximity to the Bob Tiffin Service Center, widely regarded as best-in-class within the RV industry, Tiffin Motorhomes said. With extensive experience servicing all Tiffin Class A, Class B and Class C motorhomes, the service center provides real-world insight that feeds directly back into manufacturing, engineering and quality assurance.
Scott Nash, vice president of human resources for Tiffin Motorhomes, emphasized the significance of the decision: “When you look at what we have here in Red Bay — the depth of experience, the pride in craftsmanship and the infrastructure we’ve built over decades — this move simply makes sense,” said Nash. “Consolidating Class C production at our main campus allows us to leverage our greatest strengths. It’s a positive step forward for Tiffin and positions us well for the future.”
This transition underscores Tiffin Motorhomes’ ongoing commitment to building world-class motorhomes while investing in its people, facilities and customers, the company said. By uniting production under one primary campus, the company is focused on driving innovation, maintaining exceptional quality and continuing the legacy that has defined Tiffin for more than half a century.
