Timbren Industries recently introduced the 8K Silent Ride trailer suspension. Silent Ride suspensions are designed for RV trailers, boat trailers, car haulers and utility trailers on steel or aluminum frames.
The combination of a metal control arm and two Aeon rubber springs creates a suspension that rides smoothly whether loaded or unloaded, according to the company.
Although the suspension capacity has been increased to 8,000, a lower ride height (less than 15 inches from frame to ground) is still achievable. As a result, a low center of gravity is maintained for maximum stability.
This unit gives users the flexibility to choose more options, i.e. 4- to 6-inch drop axles, alternatives on tire and brakes size, and the durometer (hardness) of the rubber jounce spring.
