TMC, Forest River Among NHTSA Recalls

The National Highway Transportation Safety Association announces recalls affecting several RV builders.

Thor Motor Coach has issued three separate recalls.

The company says its wire harness may chafe and damage circuits; this recall affects the 2020 Thor Motor Coach Axis and Vegas, and the 2020-21 Chateau, Four Winds and Quantum. The NHTSA recall number is 20V303.

TMC also says there is incorrect Auto-P information in the owner’s manual for its 2020 Chateau, Chateau Citation, Compass, Daybreak, Delano, Four Winds, Four Winds Siesta, Freedom Elite, Gemini, Quantum, Siesta, Synergy and Tiburon. The recall number is 20V308.

Thor Motor Coach also says the front brake hoses may contact the fender liners in its 2020 Chateau, Chateau Citation, Compass, Daybreak, Delano, Four Winds, Freedom Elite, Gemini, Quantum, Siesta, Synergy and Tiburon. The recall number is 20V312.

Triple E RVs announces that its utility compartment door latch may become locked on the 2020 Unity model. The recall number is 20V299.

Keystone RV announces that its cooktop burner flames may invert on the 2020-21  Cougar. The recall ID number is 20V302.

Keystone also announces that there may be incorrect tire information on the certification label on its 2020 Springdale model. The recall number is 20V311.

Forest River says the gasoline generator fuel supply hose may leak on its 2019-20 Mirada and Pursuit models. The recall number is 20V304.
