Thor Motor Coach has announced that new 2020 RUV motorhomes are arriving on dealer lots. Compass and Gemini, built on a Ford Transit or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter diesel chassis, joined the Axis and Vegas RUV line in 2015. RUVs feature euro-styled decors, smaller body frames (ranging from 23 feet, 6-inches up to 28-feet, 6-inches), and integrated side view and back-up cameras.
The kitchen comes with a flip-up countertop, and in the bedroom, there is cushioned seating underneath the flip-up bed frame. This year, the Rapid Camp+ wiring control system receives an upgrade and features both digital and analog controls. Rapid Camp+ is app-enabled to allow users to operate lights, expand slide-outs, and check battery levels from a phone or tablet. RUVs feature LED lighting and are solar-ready.
Thor Motor Coach has developed a web-based portal, the Owners Resource, to give owners access to important information on their motorhome, including factory-installed components and equipment, owner’s manuals, and more. Along with the Owners Resource, the new Thor Motor Coach app helps with everything from tracking RV service and maintenance to trip planning.
