TMC, Truma Partner for the New Sequence Class B

Thor Motor Coach has partnered with Truma to use the Truma Combi heating and hot water system in the manufacturer’s newest Class B vehicle, the Sequence. The Truma Combi delivers both hot air and hot water from the same lightweight system. The driving factors in the decision to make the Combi a part of the vehicle were the near-silent operation, the compact size of the unit, and the Combi’s energy efficiency, according to the company.

“My wife and I took the Sequence with the Truma Combi system out for a weekend last spring,” said Jon Krider, VP product development and marketing with TMC. “I wanted to let you know we very much enjoyed the function of the heater and the quietness of its service. The water was hot and we both took showers, military style, with plenty of hot water. On Saturday night the temps were in the 40s and the heater provided great warmth. Just a small thanks for the great product.”

“Truma is happy to add Thor Motor Coach to the list of premium partners who provide Truma heating systems to North American RVers,” said Mark Howlett, senior VP business development with Truma North America. “The Class B segment is an area where Truma excels, tight spaces for camping mean noise levels are critical and the infinitely variable speed fan on the Combi ensures a peaceful rest while conserving precious energy and fuel, allowing campers to extend their time off the grid.”

“The Truma Combi has been the standard in the motorized vehicle segment in the European market for many years,” said Gerhard Hundsberger, president and CEO of Truma North America. “Truma systems can now be found on over 75 percent of Class B’s in North America. We look forward to supporting Thor Motor Coach with the launch of the Sequence and wish them much luck in their growth of the Class B market in North America.”
