On Monday (Feb. 6), Total Value RV of Elkhart, Ind., handed over the keys to a Cherokee Wolf Pup to be auctioned off at a fundraiser that benefits Tye Grice, a LaGrage County, Ind., high school student who is faced with severe heart problems and may require a heart transplant, according to WNDU News.

The owner’s granddaughter is a student at Westview High, and she told her family they needed to help.

“We’ve shed a lot of tears with the support that we’ve had,” said Audrey Green, Tye’s mom. “Since Tye is 19, a lot of the bills are coming in his name, so it’s his financial responsibility, which I won’t let start his life out with that. I want him to start fresh.”

The event, which is called “Put a Little Love in Your Heart for Tye,” was held Wednesday, Jan. 18. The auction of the trailer raised $5,000.
