Town Contributes for ‘Comfort RV’

Dozens came together at Hagan Community Park in Rancho Cordova, Calif., on Saturday to raise money for a comfort RV.

Sacramento County chaplains are raising money for the comfort RV, where families can have privacy as they cope with loss, according to KCRA.

“Whatever they need, we will respond and provide whatever care that they need,” said chaplain Leslie Love, who has been helping the community deal with tragedy for a decade.

The Rotary Club hosted the event, called the Cordova Cares Fun Fair.

“It would be amazing because a lot of times when we are on the scene, the family, if they cannot be in their home due to a tragic event, we have to bring them outside, and that would provide a very comforting place for them to seek the care of a chaplain,” Love said.
