Trader Interactive Offers New Enhancements
Trader Interactive’s new pricing package is now released.
Trader is the parent company of online marketplaces in the lifestyle vehicle and commercial equipment industries, as well as a trusted source of lifestyle vehicle market share data.
The package’s two new tools utilize exclusive current pricing data to eliminate the need to retrieve and research pricing information on a unit-by-unit basis, expediting pricing decisions for marketplace listings as well as for used vehicle purchases and trade-ins.
Offering high-level overviews as well as filter-based drill-down abilities for detailed information on individual units, both tools can be accessed on the TraderTraxx portal that Trader Interactive marketplace advertisers use to manage their inventory, leads and reporting. They are:
Off-Lot Lookup, which simplifies pricing decisions on purchases or trade-ins of used vehicles for dealerships that advertise on Cycle Trader, RV Trader, ATV Trader, PWC Trader and Snowmobile Trader. This tool provides instant access to competitive pricing of matching units in the dealer’s DMA with the ability to filter by price range, class, condition, year and state, as well as make, model and trim, helping dealers determine how much they should pay to acquire used units in order to hit resale profit margins.
On-Lot Analysis, which displays an unfiltered list of the dealer’s total inventory on supported Trader Interactive marketplaces along with drill-down capabilities that provide a fast and easy comparison to competitors’ listing prices on individual units by DMA, state and national averages. A Scarcity rating indicates market demand for a particular unit that can affect pricing, and a Price to Market Index rating offers a quick view of how the unit compares to the average market price. On-Lot Analysis is now available to Cycle Trader, RV Trader, ATV Trader, PWC Trader and Snowmobile Trader advertisers.
“Competitive pricing is a key to success for recreational vehicle and powersports dealers, but until now it took significant effort to do the research required to put the best price on a unit on-lot or available via trade-in,” said Jason Groesser, head of analytics and data strategy at Trader Interactive. “Our new Pricing Tools package streamlines the process by aggregating pricing information and our proprietary market data into a single interface that can be parsed any way the dealer chooses with a few clicks. It will help our dealers increase efficiency, maximize profits, and gain an even bigger competitive advantage over the dealers who don’t advertise on our marketplaces.”
