Truma Celebrates its 40 Under 40 Honoree

Truma said it is thrilled to congratulate Jonathan Ellis, OEM account manager, on his inclusion in RV PRO’s “40 Under 40” Class of 2022.

The annual “40 under 40” event recognizes the best and brightest of the RV industry, as nominated by their peers and colleagues.

Ellis was among the first employees hired seven years ago when Truma expanded to North America. He has seen the company grow from less than a dozen employees in a converted house on Jackson Boulevard to the multi-million dollar supplier it is today.

“I have been blessed to be part of Truma and the success we’ve had in making the name synonymous with quality, reliability and performance for the North American RV market,” said Ellis. “We have a great team, and I’ve enjoyed developing close partnerships with RV manufacturers who want a simply better experience for their customers.”

An Elkhart native, Ellis said he was aware of the RV industry long before he joined it professionally. He added that growing up in the RV manufacturing capital allowed him to see how RVing offers families and friends a different way to experience the outdoors and spend time together. From the very beginning of his time with the company, Ellis said he recognized that Truma had something special to offer this industry with its water, heating, and cooling systems. It is that strong belief in his product line and his passion for the industry that have led Ellis to form close, trusted partnerships with OEMs like Forest River and Winnebago.

Ellis’ teammates say his example has been instrumental in solidifying Truma’s “Simply Better” reputation among customers and the industry.

“Jonathan is truly invested in the projects and the success of his OEM manufacturing partners,” said fellow OEM Account Manager, Bob Yessa. “He offers support through product training, the transfer of information throughout their organizations, and even gets his hands dirty with product installations if needed.”

“We are very fortunate to have Jonathan on our team. Jonathan is the type of person that sees opportunities where others might see obstacles,” said Gerhard Hundsberger, CEO and president of Truma North America. “He is always willing to work towards solutions that will result in the best outcome for Truma as a company and for our OEM partners. He is a great example of our industry’s future generation of leaders.”

Truma added that it would like to extend its congratulations to the entire RV Pro 40 under 40 Class of 2022, which was celebrated during an evening event at the RVDA Convention/Expo this week in Las Vegas.
