Truma Combi Makes for Cozy Winter Camping in Thor Class B’s
Truma has partnered with Thor Motor Coach to equip its Class B camper vans for year-round camping.
The Truma Combi is standard on all Sequence, Tellaro, Sanctuary and Tranquility models as well as the Rize 18M and Scope 18M models. The company describes its Combi product as one that will preserve precious space in those vehicles.
“With both a furnace and water heater contained in one product, the Truma Combi is not only the most efficient and reliable system on the market, but it also allows our partners to rethink what is possible in their floorplans,” said Bob Yessa, technical sales representative for Truma.
Truma said its Combi is meant to pull double-duty. The furnace function keeps the inside of the camper nice and warm, and it also provides a reliable source of hot water for the shower in the wet bath and sink in the kitchenette. The Truma Combi’s built-in water tank provides domestic hot water to the coach even when the furnace is not running, making it a perfect choice for the warm and cold months alike.
“We see that the season for RVs is no longer limited to the summer months with the introduction of innovative vehicle design and utility of use,” said Truma North America CEO Gerhard Hundsberger. “We are now seeing motorized RVs becoming a more popular mode of travel all year long, rather than two or three times in the summer. These vehicles are opening up a wide array of possibilities for their owners only limited by their imaginations.”
