In his new role, Ricks will lead the team in strategic sales planning, personnel development, call center, and service technician management locally and remotely across North America.

“Our commitment to providing world-class service and support for our customers in the North American market continues,” said Mark Howlett, the company’s senior vice president of business development. “Manufacturers recognize the value of installing Truma systems in their RV builds. OEM’s can provide a better RVing experience for their customers and differentiate their RV’s from their competitors with Truma components. Adding Dave to our team will help us further focus our delivery of innovative systems to the industry.”

Ricks brings more than 15 years of industry experience in the mobile home and RV sector in the Elkhart, Ind., area. In his previous role, he led an acquisition to a 50 percent growth in revenue while establishing protocols and metrics to obtain ‘Best in Service‘ standards. Ricks is a previous President’s Award winner for outstanding sales gains.

“The RV industry is facing unprecedented times, and with more and more families looking to explore the outdoors, we at Truma want to ensure they focus on their adventure in comfort,” said Gerhard Hundsberger, president and CEO of Truma North America. “We are committed to providing customers a seamless experience across sales and service, wherever they may be traveling. The addition of Dave solidifies our commitment to providing world-class service and support.”
