Truma Rolls Out New Dealer/Service Program in North America

Connectedness is a state of being or having a close relationship with others. For Truma, the concept of connectedness represents one of the company’s core values. Truma strives to continue strengthening partnerships within the RV industry.

In the spirit of building relationships, Truma has recently updated its Truma Dealer/Service Program to serve its base more efficiently, strengthen the service network across North America and help service locations better serve RV owners.

This new program has two levels and is exclusive to dealers who have participated in Truma Systems Training, which is offered exclusively by Truma. Participants of the Truma Dealer/Service Program receive marketing benefits, concierge service and training opportunities based on their program level. The two tiers are Premium Partners and Service Partners. The primary difference between the program tiers lies in the type of training they have completed and the level of service they can offer.

“Truma Premium Partners have completed training on all of our systems and have the ability to retrofit the Truma AquaGo and Truma Aventa,” said Gerhard Hundsberger, president and CEO of Truma Corp. “Service Partners have completed training on a specific Truma system and can retrofit the Truma AquaGo. Both Premium Partners and Service Partners must meet quality standards and requirements established by Truma.”

Truma has more than 300 trained service providers across North America who qualify for at least one level in the program. Truma said it will work with those providers first before soliciting new participants. Service technicians interested in obtaining training on Truma systems can email training@trumacorp.com for more information.

“We started rolling out the program last month by enrolling Truma trained providers as Service Partners,” Hundsberger said. “We have identified those locations that may be eligible to be Premium Partners and will start contacting those dealers in the coming weeks.”

Truma will work with program participants to ensure they receive prompt service, access to spare parts, additional training opportunities and increased resources to help get end users back on the road should their Truma systems require attention.

The company said this program will offer RV owners another advantage: the ability to have Truma systems retrofitted to their existing RV.

“We often hear from RV owners that they wish they could have a Truma AquaGo or Truma Aventa retrofitted onto their current RV without having to come to our facilities in Elkhart, Indiana, or Lakeland, Florida,” Hundsberger added. “This program expands Truma’s service opportunities and locations. Truma will provide participants with the resources and tools to help RV owners upgrade their current air conditioning and water heaters, enabling them to enjoy their RV even more.”

RV owners looking to upgrade their current systems or in need of a Truma Service Partner can visit truma.com/us and use the dealer map function to find the nearest location.

“We’re excited to bring these resources to those who work on our systems and those who use our systems. We hope that our OEM partners will find them as one more way we’re committed to strengthening our connectedness within the industry,” said Hundsberger.
