Twitchell Technical Products, a supplier of engineered polymer fabrics and coated films, has acquired RV industry woven vinyl supplier Infinity Woven Products.
Founded in 2008, Infinity manufactures and distributes floor and wall coverings for the RV, marine and aerospace industries. A purchase price was not disclosed.
Infinity’s Luxury Woven Vinyl features a heavy-traffic-rated, vinyl backing that is ideal for indoor and outdoor use on a variety of surfaces. The products are UV-stable, resistant to fading, and include antimicrobial technology.
The Woven Vinyl line initially made its niche in the marine industry, and expanded into the RV market in 2013.
Infinity’s product line grew to 20 collections in over 200 colors. By servicing dealers and upholstery aftermarket installers directly, Infinity has removed the industry expectation of a distribution network, according to the release.
“We are excited about the addition of Infinity’s products to our growing suite of specialty products,” Twitchell Chief Executive Officer Jeff Register said. “The acquisition of Infinity expands our reach within the quickly growing marine and RV markets and gives Infinity added resources to continue innovation and expand its market penetration.”
“The addition of Infinity is another example of Highlander’s ongoing strategy of executing strategic add-on acquisitions that expand our portfolio companies’ product offerings and market share,” Twitchell Chairman and President of Highlander Partners Mike Nicolais said. “Like Twitchell, Infinity takes a customer-centered approach, providing customers with superior service and customized solutions, and the two organizations are a great cultural fit.”
Regions Financial Corporation provided senior financing facilities in support of the transaction.
