A park can have a great website, but it’s not going to generate much business if people can’t find it quickly on a Google search.
That was the key takeaway from a presentation Braden Walker of TXAD Internet Services made last month to campground operators who are members of 20 Group 4, one of four 20-groups established by the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds.
During his presentation, Walker noted that Google has raised the bar and developed sophisticated search tools that enable the company to sort the stagnant websites from websites that are constantly being loaded with fresh content.
TXAD Internet Services provided each of the 20 Group 4 participants with search engine optimization reports, which enabled them to see how well their websites were optimized and what needs to be fixed.
“We will run Search Engine Optimization reports for anyone that wants one,” Walker said. “These reports will provide park operators with information on what’s working on their website, what needs to be fixed, and where they rank on particular keyword searches.”
TXAD Internet Services offers services which enable park operators to not only update their websites, but to develop content strategies that can help them achieve higher rankings on Google searches.
ARVC’s 20 Group 4 includes park operators from Texas, Michigan, Wisconsin, Montana, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and British Columbia.
