Unifab Corp. Names New Supply Chain Manager

Unifab Corporation (Unifab), a full-service, precision metal fabrication company, has hired Noah Logan as its new supply chain manager.

Logan joins the organization with nearly a decade of experience in supply chain operations, production scheduling and manufacturing coordination. With his addition, Unifab’s team has grown to 35 employees.

In this role, Logan will oversee production scheduling, material flow and coordination across departments to ensure fabrication, welding, finishing and assembly operations remain aligned with customer timelines.

Logan’s experience in supply chain and production planning includes roles within the manufacturing sector. He most recently served as purchasing/production planning manager at Weber Specialties Company and previously held supply chain and operations roles in west Michigan manufacturing organizations.

“We’re excited to welcome Noah to the Unifab team,” said Matt Hill, president of Unifab Corporation. “His experience in production planning and supply chain coordination will help us continue improving operational efficiency and delivering the level of responsiveness our customers expect.”

Logan fills the position previously held by Torrey Appel, who was recently promoted to general manager at Unifab.

Appel joined the company in 2022 as supply chain manager, where he helped strengthen scheduling processes and operational coordination across the shop floor. In his new role as General Manager, Appel oversees day-to-day operations including production, fabrication, finishing, and shipping.

“Torrey has played an important role in strengthening our internal operations over the past several years,” Hill said. “His leadership and understanding of our business made him a natural choice to step into the General Manager position as we continue to grow.”

Logan will now take on the supply chain and production scheduling responsibilities previously managed by Appel, working closely with operations, engineering and production teams to maintain schedule accuracy, optimize workflow, and support Unifab’s commitment to reliable delivery.

Currently celebrating its 75th anniversary, Unifab has provided expert fabrication services to industries ranging from automotive to material handling since 1951. The Portage, Michigan, company employs 35 individuals and maintains a strong culture of innovation, precision and service.
