Pleasure-Way Expands Class B Lineup, Debuts Two New Models

Pleasure-Way Industries is expanding its premium Class B motorhome lineup with the introduction of two new models built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter AWD chassis: the Plateau-RB and Plateau XLTW.

Both models will make their public debut at America’s Largest RV Show, taking place Sept. 16–20 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

The new Plateau AWD models are designed for travelers who want to venture farther without sacrificing comfort, storage, or self-sufficiency. Each model combines the added confidence of Mercedes-Benz all-wheel drive with a large rear storage garage and a comprehensive multi-source power system.

“Our customers are looking for the freedom to travel beyond traditional campgrounds while bringing more of their adventure gear with them,” said Dean Rumpel, CEO of Pleasure-Way Industries. “The Plateau-RB and Plateau XLTW were developed around that need. They deliver capable all-wheel-drive performance, substantial storage and the power flexibility required for extended off-grid travel — all while maintaining the craftsmanship and refinement Pleasure-Way owners expect.”

Large rear storage garages distinguish both models, providing generous space for outdoor equipment, travel essentials and the gear needed for longer adventures. The garages are thoughtfully integrated into each floorplan, expanding storage capacity without compromising the comfort and livability of the interior, the company said.

Whether the journey involves cycling, fishing, hiking, skiing or simply travelling farther from home, the Plateau-RB and Plateau XLTW are designed to make it easier to bring everything along.

Both models feature extensive solar capacity, lithium battery power and an onboard generator, creating a flexible and dependable multi-source energy system.

This combination allows owners to draw power from multiple sources based on their location and travel needs — supporting longer stays away from hookups and providing added confidence when traveling off-grid.

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter AWD chassis provides enhanced traction for changing road and weather conditions, opening the door to more destinations throughout the year. Inside, the Plateau-RB and Plateau XLTW continue Pleasure-Way’s commitment to premium materials, intelligent design, advanced technology and meticulous craftsmanship, the company said.

“These models are about creating more possibilities for our owners,” added Rumpel. “More places to explore, more gear to bring and more freedom to travel on their own terms.”
