Elkhart, Ind.-based Thor Motor Coach announces upgrades to its 2021 Class A Challenger and Miramar motorhomes.
The new Ford 7.3-liter V8 engine replaces the V10, resulting in an increase of power and a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions with the output of 350 horsepower and 468 pounds-per-foot of torque. The new hill start assist, instrument cluster, auto headlights and tilt and telescope steering wheel work in partnership to create ease-of-use and ease-of-mind, the company said.
Miramar features all new exterior graphics, including three full-body paint packages and two partial paints with vinyl graphics. The “Lake View” and “Quicksilver” interior decor packages create a calming and luxurious aesthetic in these motorhomes, TMC said. Floor plans now feature the Rapidcold technology within the Contoure 12-cubic-foot residential refrigerator, which keeps food cold and frost-free.
Challenger has a brand-new look with its fresh front cap and accent lighting. The new satin-finish “Sanibel” and “Regatta” cabinetry with rake styling are designed to complement the new “Night Breeze” and “River Song” interior decor packages. USB charging ports in the bedroom and living room provide convenience to keep any device charged.
Both of these Class A motorhomes come in four floor plans for families of all different sizes, needs and lifestyles. Many layouts offer distinctive options including full recline home theater seats or an electric fireplace. The new 100-watt solar panel prolongs boondocking abilities for those who want to stay off the grid.
