Coachmen RV, a division of Forest River, has recently released a new Pursuit floorplan. This floorplan will create a new entry level Class A price point.
The goal of this floorplan was to build a price sensitive RV that did not sacrifice on quality, functionality or look.
“We also wanted to create a motorhome that was worry free,” said Michael Kaiser, general manager for Coachmen’s Class A segment. “This floorplan will allow campers to enjoy the destination as much as the journey. It is perfect for Walmart Camping and the National parks since it’s under 30 feet. The non-slide Class A motorhome is the only one of its kind. In an industry when everyone is racing to add more electronics and gadgets, we focused instead on convenience and easy to operate features.”
The Pursuit 27XPS features large exterior storage compartments, a silverware drawer, interior storage, and a manual drop down bunk, as well as large windows throughout the coach. It has 7,000 pounds of tow capacity with the possibility of towing 8,000 pounds depending on how the coach is loaded. Initial reaction by dealers has been positive and the floorplan (MAP $72,999) is starting to ship to dealers across North America.
