Video: Keystone’s Cougar & Lippert Tackle Death Valley Environment

Cougar by Keystone and Lippert Components recently teamed up for a creative marketing collaboration in Death Valley, California, using one of the most extreme environments in the U.S. as the ultimate stage to highlight RV performance and innovation.

Set against the dramatic, sun-scorched backdrop of Death Valley, the production featured Cougar fifth wheels outfitted with Lippert’s Furrion Chill Cube18K air conditioner. With ambient temperatures soaring well into the triple digits, the Chill Cube demonstrated its ability to deliver powerful cooling, quiet operation and energy efficiency — exactly what modern RVers need when venturing off the beaten path, the companies said.

“This was more than an advertising campaign; it was a celebration of what’s possible when innovation and performance come together,” said Jarod Lippert, chief marketing officer at Lippert. “The Chill Cube is built to keep RVers cool and comfortable, even when the environment is doing everything it can to challenge that comfort.”

Designed with a variable-speed compressor, soft start capability and an ultra-quiet sound profile, the Chill Cube integrates seamlessly into the Cougar platform. This pairing reflects the shared commitment between Keystone and Lippert to enhance the RV experience through next-level comfort and cutting-edge technology.

“We wanted to showcase not only the capability of our Cougar models but the lifestyle and confidence that come with traveling with gear this advanced,” said Scott Taylor, Cougar product manager at Keystone RV. “Death Valley gave us the perfect setting to tell that story.”

Captured through photo and video content by both brands’ in-house teams, the campaign will roll out on social media, YouTube and digital channels throughout the summer.
