First popularized as a light commercial transport vehicle, the Sprinter van found favor with both European and American RV manufacturers in recent years as the chassis of choice for building Class B motorhomes (as well as some Class C models). Airstream, Coachmen, Roadtrek,

Winnebago and nearly every other major North American RV manufacturer builds at least one of its camper vans on the Sprinter chassis, which is known for its good-sized interior space, safety features and fuel economy.
