Wilmington, N.C.-based Walex Products has hired Tony Butler as its new RV and marine sales manager.
“We are extremely excited to bring Tony into the Walex family. He will bring a wealth of knowledge from his 30 years in retail/sales. We have no doubt that he will be a valuable asset to Walex and our industry,” President Bill Williams stated in a press release.
Butler’s background includes 30 years of surfing industry retail experience including 14-1?2 years as a managing partner/co-owner of Sweetwater Surf Shop in Wrightsville Beach, N.C. He also founded a local website in 2003, WBlivesurf.com, for avid surfers and beach enthusiasts. The past five years, Butler was the customer service manager for Global Surf Industries (GSI) where he managed international customer service and all U.S. online sales.
