U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) recently released the following statement on the signing of the Phase One trade agreement between the U.S. and China:
“The days of simply letting China get away with unfair trade practices are over,” she said.
“This Phase One agreement will go a long way toward ending China’s most egregious abuses and providing relief to American manufacturers and farmers,” Walorski continued. “With a strong agreement in place, the U.S. is now in the best possible position heading into the next phase of negotiations with China.
“I applaud President Trump for his leadership in leveling the playing field for American businesses and workers and keeping our nation’s economic momentum going.”
Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District of Indiana, serving as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
