For the first time ever, incumbent Republican Rep. Jackie Walorski has agreed to debate her Democratic opponent on television.
In another first, she has agreed to three debates, according to the South Bend Tribune.
With less than four months until the Nov. 6 election, Democrat Mel Hall on Wednesday challenged the 2nd District Republican to a series of three televised debates. Walorski’s campaign issued a statement Thursday saying she will accept Hall’s invitation.
Walorski is a member of the RV Caucus who represents the Elkhart, Ind., area in Washington, D.C.
