Wayne Davis Retiring at Regency; Don Emahiser Takes Over

After 25 years guiding Regency RV, Wayne Davis has chosen to retire as owner and CEO of and has handed the job off to long-time industry veteran and associate, Don Emahiser.

Davis founded Regency RV in 2014, after a celebrated and prolific career at the helm of Regency and Tuscany Conversions, as well as Wayne Davis Restorations. Regency RV launched the Xalta brand Class B in 2016 and followed this debut with the Ultra Brougham B+ and the National Traveler Class B in 2018.

“I’ve carried the Regency banner since 1995 – it’s family to me.” said Davis, “I am excited for this team to carry the flag now. And maybe a little excited for some vacation, too.”

Emahiser has more than two decades of experience in the RV industry, including executive positions with CrossRoads RV, Redwood RV, EverGreen RV and Skyline RV.

The new Regency ownership group, led by Emahiser, has purchased the majority of the company from Davis. While Davis will remain in an advisory role for Regency, his first love has always been the restoration of classic cars and he will continue to find, build, restore and sell world-class automobiles.

“We look forward to building on the tradition of outstanding quality and customer service this company has built in just a few years” said Emahiser, Regency RV’s new president and CEO. “The Regency name has stood for innovation and integrity since 1983. Our team leaders and employees are very eager to continue that tradition.”

Regency RV is based in Fort Worth, Texas. The new owners plan for the local plant to remain in its current location as, “Regency’s roots run deep here in Fort Worth,” Emahiser said.
