Webinar: How to Submit Suggested Changes To RV-C Protocol
Coming up later in September the RV Industry Association will host a webinar on “RV-C Protocol.” RV-C is Recreation Vehicle-CAN, or Communication Area Network.
The RV-C protocol was developed by the RV Industry Association RV-C Subcommittee almost 20 years ago. It’s an open protocol language for appliances and devices within an RV that allows the products to communicate and cooperate.
The webinar, being held Tuesday, Sept. 20, is titled, “How to Submit Suggested Changes to RV-C Protocol.” It will be presented by current RV-C administrator Von Lindsey, president of Lindsey Research Services, and Martin Perlot, president of Silverleaf Electronics and the former RV-C Administrator. The webinar is open to all RV Industry Association members.
The target audiences for this webinar are:
- Product developers or engineers who are not familiar with submissions to the RV-C protocol
- Managers who are responsible for RV-C compatible products (but may not be product developers or engineers)
- Engineers who work for an RV manufacturer that uses RV-C
- Anyone responsible for RV-C related items (e.g., procurement or sale of RV-C compatible products)
- Anyone interested in learning more about RV-C and how it is administered
The webinar will be 1 p.m. ET, 10 a.m. PT, on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Click here to register.
