Wilson Electronics has launched the Connect RV 65, an in-vehicle cellular signal booster designed to provide cellular connectivity in a stationary RV. Priced at $649.99, the Connect RV 65 is certified by the FCC and Industry Canada.
The Connect RV 65 is compatible with all mobile phones and wireless carriers in the U.S. and Canada, which helps enable better cellular reception, fewer dead zones, and faster data upload/download speeds while parked at a camping ground or other location, the company stated.
“Your cell phone is an essential part of your life. You depend on it to stay connected to everything important – family, friends and work. The weBoost Connect RV 65 cellular signal booster is a powerful, effective solution to maintain continuous communication for all cellular-enabled devices in your parked RV,” said Bruce Lancaster, CEO of Wilson Electronics. “Because you’re parked in a single location, the weBoost Connect RV 65 is able to use a more powerful outside directional antenna pointed directly towards the nearest tower with a telescoping pole that can reach up to 25 feet. This enables a stronger signal than our mobile RV products, whose antennas are optimized to work even while driving.”
The Connect RV comes with a:
- Powerful cellular amplifier
- Outside directional antenna
- 25-foot telescoping pole and mount assembly
- Inside panel antenna
- 30-inch and two 15-foot white, low-loss RGB coax cables
- F-female to F-female adapter to create ideal cable lengths
- AC/DC power supply
How it works is that the exterior antenna reaches out to cellphone towers to receive a signal. The antenna then transmits this signal to the booster. The booster receives this outside signal and amplifies each of the frequency bands it supports using a series of low-noise amplifiers and filters.
