Winnebago topped the list of recalls this week from manufacutrers, due to a faulty dead-bolt lock that could leave the locks stuck in the locked position, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Winnebago is recalling 3,307 units from its 2014-15 Vista, Brave, Trend, Minnie Winnie, and Itasca Sunstar, Tribute, Viva!, and Spirit lineups due to a manufacturing issue that causes the deadbolt locks to become stuck in a locked position.

Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and repair deadbolts as needed. The recall is expected to begin this month. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-3535, or TriMark customer service at 1-641-394-3188.

The bolts can come loose and cause the seat to move if involved in a crash. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 207, “Seating Systems.”

Goshen will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and re-tighten the bolts. The recall is expected to begin this month. Owners may contact Goshen customer service at 1-574-970-6300.

Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a new corrected certification label. The recall began on August 31. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-219-533-5934. Forest River’s number for this recall is 17B-08032015-0069.

Keystone RV Company is recalling 124 of its 2014-15 Keystone Avalanche RVs, model 355RK due to a rear window that has a sticker labeling it as an emergency exit. However, the window may be partially blocked by the rear ladder and was not intended to be a secondary emergency exit.

Keystone has notified owners, and dealers will remove the emergency exit sticker. The recall began on August 17, 2015. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone’s number for this recall is 15-233.
