Crane Composites Receives Safety and Health Award

Crane Composites said that its Jonesboro, Arkansas, facility has received the GOLD status achievement award within the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program. SHARP is designed to recognize employers for OSHA standards compliance and their exemplary safety and health management systems. In Arkansas, GOLD status requires three or less recordable injuries over a four-year period, scoring the highest rating on 80% of the OSHA Safety and Health Program Assessment Worksheet; no more than two lost or restricted days; and safety mentorship to at least three companies.

“At Crane Composites, we have a strong commitment to protect the health and safety of our associates, visitors and vendors,” said Mike Ridge, vice president of operations. “Our objective is to create an injury-free workplace, and this starts with our ‘Safety-First’ culture. We are very proud of our Jonesboro associates and their focus and dedication on safe work practices at the site.”
